At Peninsula Health, our nurses not only care for people, they care about people.
They pride themselves on their skills, expertise and compassion. They take an active role in making what is often a difficult experience, a better experience, for our patients and their families. Our nurses do this whilst delivering quality, contemporary, nursing practice.
Working at Peninsula Health offers diversity, flexibility and access to a range of postgraduate and professional development opportunities. We understand that our staff lead busy lifestyles and are continuously looking towards more flexible options to make work more manageable.
We provide graduate nurses, nurses re-entering the workforce and nurses taking part in postgraduate study programs a supportive work environment and senior nurse mentors to help encourage and guide their professional journeys.

Kristine Field - Division One RN at Frankston HospitalWHY DID YOU CHOOSE NURSING AS A CAREER? I chose nursing as a career because I was always interested in medicine, and I wanted a job that would keep me interested everyday. I also wanted a job where I could meet interesting people, and being a nurse allows me to do this. WHAT ARE THE POSITIVE ASPECTS OF YOUR JOB? One of the more positive aspects of my job is working with amazing staff who share the same values as me. Also, this job allows me to increase my knowledge base in all aspects of health care (practical and theoretical) with an array of education and in-services, based both in the hospital and by allowing me to go to other hospitals for further education. My job is never boring, and there is generally always something really interesting to do and to learn. Read more about Kristine Field (10 KB). |
